This website is built to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility was designed into the component system rather than tested onto the end of it.

• Semantic HTML with a correct heading hierarchy.
• Full keyboard operation with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
• A skip-to-content link.
• Text contrast meeting or exceeding 4.5:1 for body copy.
• Descriptive link text rather than “click here” or bare URLs.
• Alternative text on all meaningful images.
• Captions and transcripts for any video or audio.
• Forms with visible labels and accessible error messages.
• Body text at a minimum of 18px.
• Touch targets of at least 48x48 pixels.
• Full support for reduced-motion preferences.
• No essential information conveyed by colour alone or embedded only in an image.

Known limitations: the downloadable executive profile and media kit are not yet fully tagged for screen readers. An accessible alternative is available on request by emailing contact@walidelsayes.com. Screen-reader testing across the site is ongoing and this statement will be updated as it completes.

Assessed with automated tooling and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing. Reviewed at least annually and after any significant change.
